The changes in today’s business environment have resulted in new challenges for the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry. Clinical Trials Pipeline Reporting Portal
  • The client needed to implement a standardized web portal solution capable of administering documents, pre-formatted reports and business intelligence software while maintaining the management and security structure.
RFP and Configuration Requirements Definition
  •  The client needed to standardize and consolidate its business processes and management systems from clinical trials operations groups around the world. We supported development of requirements for a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a global Clinical Trial Relationship Management (CTRM) system as well as the definition of configuration requirements for the chosen system and for user acceptance testing.  The unique challenge was to implement the system in such a way to convince the global community to adopt the new platforms.
Clinical Trials Reporting and Management
  • The client was in the process of retiring a legacy clinical trial reporting system, and needed support to analyze and document the critical functionality for migration to the new system.
Developing Solution Requirements for a Data Quality Gate
  • After identifying data quality issues within an existing data warehouse, the client needed to develop a new data quality gate solution that would prevent these data issues going forward. In addition to providing requirements for system implementation, DEA also developed high-level solution designs and re-engineered ‘to-be’ processes.
Dual Roles as Business Analyst and Project Manager
  • This client needed the skills of both a project manager and a business analyst for smaller initiatives, but only had the allocation for a single resource. DEA provided a resource with expertise in both areas, who was able to not only develop requirements, but also coordinate the remainder of the project phases from design through testing.
